2026 Prep Girl Hoops Team

Head Coach
Reka Massey
Reka is heading into her second season with the Dragons after an incredible first year leading both the 8th-grade and varsity teams. Her passion for the game and her ability to truly connect with players help her bring out the best in everyone she coaches. One of Reka’s biggest strengths is how she handles adversity—she stays calm and positive no matter the situation, which helps her players do the same. Thanks to her leadership, the Dragons brought home two championships and earned four second-place finishes last season!

Kayla Rogers
Sophomore | Cass Tech (Detroit, MI)

Kayla is entering her fourth year with the Dragons program as both a player and a captain. She is a relentless worker who continues to grow as a leader and as a player. This fall, she was named captain for the Technicians, and her excitement to compete on the circuit has fueled her drive to prove that her name deserves to be in the conversation as well. Her floor vision, scoring ability, and high-intensity defensive play make her a tough matchup consistently. Her biggest challenge is managing her emotions as she continues to learn the game, even with four years of experience.

Shavon Williams
Junior | Fitzgerald (Warren, MI)

Shavon is entering her third year with the Dragons program. She has worked incredibly hard to improve her game over the years. This fall, she was named captain for the Spartans thanks to her tough defense and her determination to prove everyone who doubted her wrong. That self-motivation helped her earn the role of co-captain for this year’s Dragons. Making great strides on the offensive end, Ms. Williams has developed a strong jump shot from both mid-range and beyond the arc, while also increasing her free-throw percentage

Juleana Jackson
Freshman | Renaissance (Detroit, MI)

Juleana is entering her second year with the Dragons program. She is very passionate about the sport and have shown tremendous growth last summer into highs school. "JuJu" had gained so much experience last summer playing with both 8th girls and varsity while holding her own. She is ready to show that size doesn't matter for the position that she plays. She is a perfect example of what a Dragon is all about, playing hard each and every play.

Meghan Diles
Junior | Fitzgerald (Warren, MI)

Meghan is entering her third year with the Dragons program. She brings a very unique skill set to the team due to her being a very strong volleyball player as well. With her tall frame she can rebound and demonstrated a soft touch from around the rim and behind the arch. Moves her feet very well on the defensive end, while changing or blocking shots without fouling. We are looking forward to her growth this upcoming summer.

Maleigha Hall
Junior | Renaissance (Detroit, MI)

Maleigha is entering her first year with the Dragons program. She brings a well versatile player that brings a ton of experience from AAU and High school. Physical player, that can finish well at the rim while bringing a soft touch from the outside. Very strong-minded player with a very strong IQ that will help those around better. We are very excited to have Maleigha with us this Spring/Summer.
